Henna Kim graduated from Knox College with an M.Div(Honours) and a Master of Religious Education. She served various churches for 18 years, and now gratefully serves Trinity Church as a lead minister. She loves kayaking, swimming, and reading books. She is also an artist, mom of three lovely children, and wife of a minister. She is very interested in how spirituality and art are connected and integrated, in terms of meditating on God’s word and worshipping God with art. Most of all, she loves Jesus. Elders play an essential role in the governing of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. An elder is a Christian man or woman elected by a congregation and ordained to rule in the Church. Elders, along with the minister of Word and Sacrament, form the session. The session oversees all aspects of the church.

1 Timothy 4:12 says that elders are to be an example “in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.” An Elder Has a Personal Concern for People, is a Committed Christian, is a Person of Sound judgment, and leads an upright Life.

Bill Barry (Clerk of Session) / cbarry3[at]cogeco.ca
Bill has been a member of Trinity Church since 1998 and has served Trinity as a clerk of session since 2019.  He married for 50 years to his high school sweetheart Cathy. They have two amazing daughters in Amherstview and North Carolina. Two teenage grandchildren, Austin and Jackson, along with fur babies, bring incredible joy to their lives. Bill is eager to be involved in the success of our ministry in the community and humbly brings whatever talent he can offer. His retirement from full-time work in 2016 has allowed him time to enjoy family, friends and reading.
