SERVING COMMUNITY

  1. Free Community Meal Team
    (Chair- Nancy A / Co-Chair- Bev. S)
    (Members- Cathy B, Bill B, John P,  Keith A, Lynn W)

At Trinity Church, we host free community meal ministry on the third Wednesday of every month, except July and August, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Through this service, our church reaches out to our community by providing a delicious meal and fellowship to our neighbours, serving people with the heart of God.

3. Presbyterians Sharing

Presbyterians Sharing is the national church fund supporting mission and ministry in Canada and worldwide. Our gifts from the Trinity church to Presbyterians Sharing provide the foundation for what we do together as a denomination, building strong congregations, serving vulnerable people, walking with Indigenous people, seeking justice and sharing God’s love. We also provide aid during national and international crises through Presbyterian World Service and Development (PWS&D). When we put our gifts in God’s hands, God does remarkable things!

4. Other Local Association Group

–  VON Group

The VON uses the Trinity Church Hall to run seniors’ flexibility and stretching exercises, with the goal of keeping people well and agile. VON Greater Napanee has a strong Trinity association. They use our church facility on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.

–  Loyalist Thunderbird Air Cadet Squadron

Trinity has a long-standing association with the Loyalist Thunderbird Air Cadet Squadron. Trinity has provided a venue for some Air Cadet events and has benefited from the cadets’ participation in Spring Clean-Ups, Garage Sale setups, Santa Claus Parade Food Bank Collections, and Remembrance Day services. This Air Cadet Squadron provides young people with opportunities to grow and advance regardless of their family’s financial situation.
